Once the Tonido server is installed and running, I went into the account tab under settings and changed the email address. What I entered was a gmail address that included the + symbol. This is a valid gmail address and email to this works fine. However, once I made this change (which was accepted by the server) my account stopped working. I tried to recover the account, but if I used the account without the + symbol it complained about the email address not matching. If I used the + symbol, it reported that the email address wasn't valid. In the end, I needed to use a different account.
The software needs to be setup such that the settings handling for the email address is in sync with the log in handler for these addresses.
