Don't know, but you could give it a try using this method:
http://www.subsonic.org/pages/installation.jsp#debian
or this

Thank you, although the idea behind my query was precisely to decide whether to purchase the Tonido or not

Anyone else (already sporting a Tonido2) managed to install and run Subsonic successfully?

Re: Subsonic?
Yes, it does work. Though it may run slowly the first time as it sets itself up.
A couple of tips:
1. The Debian install package works.
2. Sourceforge virtualizes the download links and inserts a page of ads, making wget unusable to get the .deb package. You will have to download the file in a browser, then copy in to the plug.
3. The first time you run the server, you may have to configure subsonic to respond to the plug's IP address:
# subsonic --host=XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX (where this is your plug's IP address)
After the first run and a plug power cycle, it seems to respond properly to the IP address.
Good luck!

Can you pass along the how and what it took you to get your Plug to run Subsonic. I have tryed
with no luck.
I followed these instructions:
http://www.subsonic.org/pages/installation.jsp#debian
What did you try/how far did you get?
Re: Subsonic?
I followed these instructions:
http://www.subsonic.org/pages/installation.jsp#debian
Those instructions work beautifully. Except I also installed lame and ffmpeg
Code: Select all
sudo apt-get install lame ffmpeg
The server works perfectly, I can access via web and through the Subsonic android app. It downloads and plays music fine

Edit: There is one issue. I have setup No-IP for my network and the Tonido is running behind a router. If I access the subsonic server from an external network (like my phone's data) it works fine, but it does not work from my internal wifi. I think this is a router issue. A hack is just to add a new server with the local IP and use it at home instead of the external hostname.
