I have created one guest account. The account has been enabled with read/write access on one directory created inside the tonido_sync folder.

...\SYNC_FOLDER\PUBLIC <--- Allowed to the Guest Account

On two different Windows cliente PCs i have installed Tonido Sync. On the first one where i connect using then Admin account everything works fine: i get all the files synched. On the second PC on which i use the Guest account, i don't get any error but the local folder does not sync with che content of the content of the directory ...\SYNC_FOLDER\PUBLIC of the server.

I didn't understand if Guest acconts Sync is possible or i am doing something wrong.

Thanks for your reply.

Tonido support is on vacations in "Dear user, its your own problem" Island,
Who cares if subscribing the pro version an user needs information? For sure not to Tonido Support team.

Back to the issue: of course the guest account works correctly using the web browser. Unfortunatelly i need to sync ths folder shared with the guest account.

May be in the future someone will be able to tell me if the feature is available or not. I hope it's not so hard to get this information from the product development team. Even a negative answer like: "Sync can't work using Guest Account" would be usefull.

Does it even work like this? In my experience the guest user that has sync permissions can just access ALL files inside the Synced Files, no matter what I choose for any Shared Folder permissions. If it did work like stated, then syncing for guests would at least make some sense, although the apparent lack of SSL support for the sync client makes it very very unsafe to use.
