Tonido for raspbian client photo upload fails

I have a banana pro running raspbian. Tonido is running on the banana which I have a HDD connected to where I have mounted the drive to /media as root with full access. In media I have a directory /media/USB_Drive_/phonePictures/Chris which is where I have set tonido server to upload phone pictures to.

The error I see on my iPhone 5s running IOS 8.1.3 is
Invalid path to store the photos set in the server. Please check if the path is valid in server.

When I log into raspbian I can cd to /media/USB_Drive_/phonePictures/Chris and see that its owner is root and all the directories have full access.

In the logs I see this at the time the upload tries to start, not sure if its related.

Not sure what else to look at.

Thanks for your help
