Can No Longer Access TonidoPlug Admin on Tonidoplug 1

Postby Scott » Sat Jul 26, 2014 8:45 pm

Hello,

I just upgraded my Tonidoplug 1 to the latest version of the Tonido software. Unfortunately, on my plug if the software doesn't automatically mount the attached USB drive it doesn't allow me to access the Tonidoplug Admin in the drop down in the upper right of the screen (Admin doesn't exist as a choice).

Up until now I was able to switch to the classic interface, and get to the Plug Admin features that way to mount the drive. With the recent software release it looks like the Classic Interface was removed making it impossible to reach the Admin and mount the drive.

I do not understand the commands to do this through Terminal (nor should I have to, frankly).

Please help. Currently my TonidoPlug is useless.

Apparently by resuming all the applications the Plug Admin option reappears.

Seems odd considering I thought you couldn't resume applications without a drive mounted for fear of filling up the internal memory.

I agree this is odd, and almost seems like a bug. This is still the case as of v6.82.0.27586.

I as well am actually running in to the exact issue with Tonido Sync. An old Sync config file has the sync folder set such that the contents are larger than the location of the default server and client directory locations. After reinstalling Sync, when I resume all apps, sync crashes and all apps are suspended again. Luckily the plug does not crash.

Fixing the config file (via instructions at http://www.tonido.com/support/display/d ... +on+Server) works, but only because the plug hasn't crashed and the external USB drive is still mounted correctly.

@Scott,
Even with the upgrade, classic UI and plugadmin UI are still available.
Assuming 192.168.1.100 as your plugs IP, you can reach the UIs using the following URLs:
Classic: http://192.168.1.100:10001/ui/classic/index.html
Plugadmin: http://192.168.1.100:10001/ui/plugadmin/index.html
