Can't create folder/file in root of mount point - 0x8007045D

Postby pkruschwitz » Tue Feb 25, 2014 10:09 pm

I took a 2TB drive off my Windows box and plugged it into the USB port. The drive became available! Yea, Team!

When I try to create a directory/folder (or any file) at the root, I get the error code in the subject. When I putty to the mount point and try to mkdir, I get a 'cannot create directory... Input/Output error.

mount output:
/dev/sdb1 on /media/disk5part1 type fuseblk (rw,nodev,noatime,allow_other,blksize=4096)

Is there any way to fix this?
