Hi,
I just got my tonidoplug, so I'm new at this.
I'm completely not able to access the tonidoplug.
I'm able to find the plug's IP address, and it's listed when going to www.tonidoplug.com/ip, but whenever I click on the butto next to it to connect I get a page not found error.
When I look into my router I do not find any DHCP clients, but still I'm able to ping to the plug's IP.
I followed every step listed in the help section under "my Tonidoplug is not accessible", but still it does not work. I installed the SSH software, but using it I cannot change to the directory /media/disk1part1/ nor to /media/usb0/. It says that the directory does not exist.
I really don't know what to do next to get into my Tonidoplug.
Thanks for any help.

Which IP did you use to connect via SSH to it?
Have you connected a USB drive to the plug?
If you haven't then those directories wont get created.

If you type http://PlugIP:10001 in your browser what do you get?

I have a external hard drive connected to the Tonidoplug, and I used the IP that was given when accessing www.tonidoplug.com/ip.
Whenever I enter http://PlugIP:10001 in IE, I get:
Tonido Error
PAGE NOT FOUND
Oops! Something went wrong.
Go back to our main page.
(similar to the issues of the post "Blank web page at https://myIP:10001/ui/core/index" of March 17, 2010.
I also tried the same with a simple USB stick connected to the Tonidoplug, with the same errors as a result.

Did the plug ever work? Or you have never been able to access the UI?

No, I only unpacked the Tonidoplug yesterday. I never got past the first screen of www.tonidoplug.com/ip. I obtained the IP address, but whenever I pushed the connect button, I got this blank screen in IE with the following message:
Tonido Error
PAGE NOT FOUND
Oops! Something went wrong.
Go back to our main page.
I already tried the following:
- type the IP address manually in IE (http://192.168.2.240:10001)
- the router does not show the plug in the DHCP client list (although I can ping 192.168.2.240, I don't know whether this makes sense)
- I changed the ethernet cable
- I did the DHCP reset procedure (afterwards the light kept blinking blue to green, is this normal? Later on, it again stayed green)
- I cleaned the flash disk (via Putty)
Nothing helped. So bottom line, I never entered the UI.
If it would help, I could send some log files this evening (central euro. time).
Thanks for your help.

I think there so something wrong either with the HW or with the network setup. At this point, I think the two options are return for another unit or return the unit for a refund.

So if you go to http://www.tonidoplug.com/ip you don't see your plug listed?
