Automated backup of tonido profile

Postby knireis » Fri Jan 29, 2010 10:31 am

Via the webinterface you can manually make a backup of your profile. This rsync command does it automagically, and if you create a cronjob on a timed basis.
Don't forget to install rsync (apt-get install rsync).

rsync -av --delete /usr/local/tonido/approot /[location where to backup] >> /[location where you want logfile]/tonidoprofilebackup.log 2>&1

The command creates a logfile which adds the new data to the file everytime you run the script. So once in a while you have to clean it up.
I added a cronjob with the help of webmin, I don't know how to do this otherwise.
