Don't connect the USB drives just yet.
I think you might have run the command rm -rf from /media directory.
Thats ok...we can recreate that directory.

But most importantly, can you please paste the output of df -h and du -h /media now.

Please do not run rm -rf command from any directory. It will wipe the files and it won't be recoverable

Forum will be faster than mailing.
Here is the command details. You are about to run two different commands.

Command (1) df -h //This command gives the disk usage of all the filesystems mounted
Command (2) du -h /media //This command gives the disk usage of just the directory /media

I want to make sure you have some unwanted files in that directory before removing them.

Code: Select all

root@TonidoPlug:~# df -h
root@TonidoPlug:~# du -h /media

Please note there is a space between df and -h .
Also there is a space between du and -h.
You can try copy pasting from here.

Thats it.
You have files written by the torrent plugin onto the internal flash.
USB disk might have been removed when the torrent was downloading.

Please follow the instructions exactly. This command rm -rf * should be run only from /media/usb0 directory. Do not run this command from any other directory as this will cause irreparable damage.

Code: Select all

root@TonidoPlug:~# cd /media/usb0/
root@TonidoPlug:/media/usb0# rm -rf *

After you delete the files you can restart tonido process and start using it.
Here is the command to restart tonido.

Code: Select all

root@TonidoPlug:~# pkill -9 tonidoconsole

Here is the screen shot of me executing the same commands.
