Agreed it was a painful update. :-)
But it was a major infrastructure update to keep Tonido SW current.

I am sure if there is an issue like this again we will be warned before updating. On the bright side my media streaming never worked consistenly under the old streaming system and didn't work at all under the new system before this update. Now music and video streaming works perfectly. :P

Have been having problems with maintaining connection so decided to pursue the upgrade. When I did the upgrade, I found that I could no longer access my tonidoplug2. My router can't identify the tonidoplug IP although doing the www.tonido.com/ip finds an previous IP using the MAC address approach. DHCP reset does nothing. SSH or pinging find nothing at that address.Unit won't boot from USBs built using the bootable USB directions. Just sits there with a blinking red light. Advice please.

Request opening a new thread for your issue. Have you tried restarting your plug?

Will do. And yes. If unplugging the unit for a few minutes and then plugging it in again constitutes a restart or reboot.
