what hard disk format suitable for a Mac and Tonido user

I read somewhere that HFS+ may cause problems?
I will be using Disk Utility to initialize the hard disk.

No, HFS+ will not work with the plug.
The best is to use the ext3 format.
DiskUtility on the Mac does not support ext3.
Best way is to format the disk on a Linux machine (maybe from a livedisk).
Or you can format it directly on the plug via a SSH connection.

ok. i am glad i checked.

i was going to buy Tonido for its simplicity and out of the box appliance like server platform.
but if HFS+ does not work, and I already have disks with HFS+ formating, then Tonido is not for me - at least not yet.

thank you!
