Can't upgrade to Version 2.0

First of all TonidoPlug is a fantastic piece of hardware and Tonido Software keeps improving with every new release.

I'm currently running version 1.9.0.11838 and would like to upgrade to the latest and greatest version via the Update Now Link. After that Tonido starts updating and i see the little window that tells me update is in progress. After several minutes the screen goes blank and i'm unable to connect to the Plug and i'm presented with the Tonido Error Dialog where i can choose to go to Home or Tonido Home. I then have to power off the plug twice to be able to log in again. Then everything is back to normal but no update.

Could ypu please help me, as i would really like to update. Is there a possibility to update offline via a tip file or something else?

We can give you a zip file, but it is helpful to know what happens when this occurs.
Can you try this update again and then after it stops responding give us the log file?

Before doing this, set the log level to trace as mention in the help to get maximum information.

Thanks for the log, but you haven't performed an update operation so it is not clear what the error is when the update is attempted.

Can you try an update and after the error send us the log?

Hi,

I had a look at the file myself and noticed the same thing, althought i did all the steps to perform an update. I changend the log to trace as you suggested and then went back to settings an started the updated via "Update Now". Then i had the Dialogbox "Updating Tonido" for a while and after several minutes it reverted back to the Error Dialog. Any Ideas what might cause this? I'll try to redo this sequence...

Since I'm at the office is there a way to remotly ssh into the plug?

When you click Update, Tonido core gets updated. Then Tonido restarts. When Tonido is back up, you will get the login screen. Log in and update the Tonido Apps.

I know that should be the normal procedure, in my case i click Update Now, then comed the before mentioned Update in Progress Dialogbox and after several minutes i get the error dialog box that Tonido is not reachable and i can choose to either go to Home or Tonido Home - neither of those options brings me to the mentioned sites - i always bounce back to the Error Dialog Box. I then have to manually unplugg the Plug 2 times and then I'm back with the 1.9 Version and no Update happened.

After the error happens, if you give your log file, we can try to see the problem.
You need to get the log before you restart the plug.

If we can't resolve it,we can give you a zip file, but it is better to figure out the issue and try to fix it because you might have this issue again in the future.

It appears disabling plugins is causing an issue.
Here's what I suggest you try.

1. Login into your TonidoPlug
2. Disable your Torrent app
3. Torrents should disappear from your list of apps
4. Restart your plug
5. Now click on Update
6. See if Tonido updates
7. After update, update your apps
