CDROM

Postby jjblu » Mon May 16, 2016 11:50 am

I am trying to use a USB cd-rom drive on my tonidoplug which is set-up to boot from an internal SATA drive.
After plugging it in, I can use cdparanoia to burn .wav files off of it through the /dev/sg1 device, but I cannot get to it through /dev/cdrom or any other block device, so it's not possible to read what is on the drive itself. For example using cd-discid.

Is this something which should work with most usb-cd drives?
