reset config files to factory default

I need help to reconfigure my TP2 to factory defaults. I am not able to edit the disk tables on my TP2. The TP2 boots w/o a USB stick. The TP2 boots with a new USB stick that I created today ( I hesitated copying the /root/app/ files to the new USB stick but did so as per WIKI entry and I did not which files might be causing my frustration). And it boots with a USB stick that I created last year. I have access to the hardware through the WEB interface and an SSH connection.

I had swapped the hard drive I had installed for a Hitachi 320GB drive. It appears that the TP2 is always booting from the NAND and that the device files are not pointing to the actual USB or SATA drives and yet, I can talk to the TP2 in a terminal session and mount and dismount the drives but I have drive1part1, drive2part1, drive3part1, drive4part1, drive5part1, drive6part1 as devices.

When I first booted from the old USB stick I was presented with the proper, current TP2 interface and asked to define a new user. I did so and saw only the base applications that came with the TP2 (I launched them and accessed the hardware but still had no access to the disk configuration tab). I did reflash the NAND but no change to the symptoms except that now the USB drive that previously booted to the most recent TP2 interface now appears to boot from the NAND.

You can follow these instructions to reset the OS in your plug's NAND.

Hi - my shared files on my TonidoPlug2 were no longer displaying in the web interface, and could not determine the issue, so I reset to the factory OS (http://www.tonido.com/communitywiki/dok ... ootfsplug2)

Unfortunately, when I click 'Check for Updates', it does not find any. The version it is reporting is 2.29.0.15370, and does not appear to include the DLNA or Backup programs that we need. I would be grateful if anyone could point me to a location or procedure to obtain a more recent software version so that we may continue using the plug.

Thanks in advance.
