Where is your tonido folder located?

Hi,
I have the same problem. Did a clean install of the newest version of Rasbmc, SSHed into the console and followed the install instructions on the tonido website (http://www.tonido.com/support/display/docs/Raspberry+Pi).

Also followed the autostart on bootup instructions, but then tonido does not start.
I used all default values for installation, i.e. having tonido in user/local/tonido.

Manual start does work perfectly.... but in'd like to simply plug-in the Pi and access tonido without needing to SSH every time...

Could that be related to the use of Upstart instead of init.d?

Yours,

Chris

To start tonido on boot is it not necessary to execute the command

Code: Select all

sudo update-rc.d tonido defaults
as well?

Well, adding

Code: Select all

update-rc.d tonido defaults
to the instructions on http://www.tonido.com/support/display/docs/Raspberry+Pi (or just following the update instructions ;) ) does start tonido on boot. At least on my Raspberry Pi running Raspbian (YMMV).

Edit: I installed everything as "root", I did not use sudo.
