Incorrect rotate

Postby jrox » Sun Mar 10, 2013 3:13 pm

Hi
I have pictures (in portrait format) that originally contained rotating EXIF info.
I have rotated the image (to have it to work viewers not supporting rotating info).
Then when using tonido to browse the pictures they are shown in landscape format i.e. with incorrect rotation.

In other viewers such as Canons Zoombrowser, and when uploaded to google drive and to drop box the images are shown correctly.

The images are taken with an Canon S90. I have images from a Canon S100 that works ok.
But I cannot find any difference in the rotation info between them. Both Orientation set to Top, Left.

Using version 3.65.0.22735.

Regards Jan

We will check this issue . I believe the viewer is not looking at the exif data but I will check and update.

Yes, we don't look at the Exif data to look at the orientation.

this is still an issue. can you revisit this and correctly parse exif to show photos on the tonido web interface rotated according to exif?
using latest tonido for ubuntu linux.
