I learned from another user that when you put the http:// infront of it, the link becomes clickable.
As a feature/enhencement request could you make a link containing just the 'www' clickable as well?

I got the plugin to work using the TonidoPlug's IP & port (the check boxes are unchecked) However, that only works locally.

Is there a way to get it to work remotely if I am using the relay?

I added my URL into the box, but when I put nothing in the Tonido port box & got an error when attempting to add a thot.

Put port 80 or port 10001.
The host should be something like joe.tonidoid.com

I never got this plugin to work. Only the Tonidofox plugin works. I tried them on a Sheevaplug running debian and ubuntu and even tried a Sheevaplug transformed into a real Tonidoplug.

Interesting. Putting port 80 made it work! (10001 did not, even though that's how I access it locally) ;)

Strange indeed, can someone confirm this is the case? It might be the reason i never got it to work. I'm using port 80 for my webserver on the plug so i can not try this out myself.

I'm having the same issue where the TonidoFox plugin works but ClipThots does not. The settings for the two plugins are identical. Executing

http://<IP>:10001/app/thots/addthotexternal?url=www.tonido.com

does work, and the url shows up in Thots.

Using either port 10001 and 80 in the plugin settings does not work. I get no error when trying to use ClipThots. Any ideas? I'm running firefox 3.6.15 on Ubuntu 64-bit kernel 2.6.32-29-generic.

We do have a new firefox plugin that consolidates clipping with TonidoFox to be released shortly. I would recommend using that.

Also, we have a plugin for clipping from chrome. You can try that too.
