Postby chitesh » Fri Nov 13, 2009 12:12 am

Hi
I am using tonido from a couple of days.

I started tonido, configured my router manually and checked for access using my the same system(typing in the url).It worked

Then I goto my office and try it ,it says oops cant find page.

I come back and try it fails at home too.then it works.

Now i cannot use web acess at all.

I tried putting my router is upnp mode and disabled windows firewalls and all.

I am using vista..

Hoping to hear soon.

What is the exact URL you are using?
The oops error indicates you are somehow using relay. Are you using relay or forwarding manually?

i am not using relay.I am using manual port forwarding on my router now.During the setup, the setup says port forwarded and all.The oops was yesterday.today I get page cannot be displayed(In chrome"oops this link seems to be broken").

I am using the url http://chiteshk.tonidoid.com:10001.

If you have manually port-forwarded:
- Make the sure the IP address hasn't changed on the computer you are running Tonido

When accessing Tonido inside your network, use http://<ip address>:10001

Do these checks:
1) Log into Tonido
2) In the Home tab, does it say "Online" under your profile?

The local access is good ie.<ip add>:10001.The ip of the pc is the saame and port is forwarded.I have checked using other tools too.

The accees to the url http://chiteshk.tonidoid.com:10001 is not happening. It says page canot be displayed.

As I said during the set up even tonido says port is forwarded.

I logged in and online as per the tonido loopback page and the system tray icon .

I am able to resolve chiteshk.tonidoid.com. But port 10001 is not open at all. Seems like port forwarding is failing.

Please make sure you get correct IP address resolution when you ping the name chiteshk.tonidoid.com.

I am however not able to access it from other location.

1) Do you have 2 tonido instances running in your network?

2) Do you have port forwarding setup to the correct instance?

I have the exact same problem at the previous poster. I can access Tonido from my desktop computer where Tonido is installed. I was able to access Tonido briefly yesterday when using your Relay service but that stopped working.

Today I attempted to manually set up my router by following the (poorly written), instructions posted on your site. I think I have everything correct but when I attempt to access Tonido from my laptop, I get the Windows 7 error message "Internet Explorer Cannot Display the webpage.

What am I doing wrong?

Bob

What URL are you using inside your network in your laptop to access your desktop?
Inside networks you need to use http://<IP Address>:10001
