I can't really tell you what the best way to do this is. It depends upon what you are trying to do.

If everyone is editing files, maybe Tonido Sync is the right way to do it with one folder synced with all your guests.

Well...according to the PR marketing Tonido features....it hypes collaboration w/Family and Friends ...then TPro hypes the full collaboration even more.

So that's all I am trying to do...simple P2P with a small project fo 10 friends w/excel workbooks. Wanting to have up/down loads 24/7. I have the TPro as host/admin.
I have the group setup...I have the folder set for sharing...I have the sub-folders set for sharing and I have the files in the sub-folders to share...

I think I have finally gotten the "push side" from my end working...thank you.
So How do I do the TPro Sync...? Does each group member have to have the Tonido Sync plug or the whole Tonido...? I have issued User ID's and pw...it that all I have to do to have them Sync...? How do they 'upload' their file back to the TPro server?

As you can tell....I am not an IT person...

See http://www.tonido.com/support/display/docs/Sync+Files
Basically, step 1 is already done, you have tonido installed and ready.
Step 2, go to "My Synced Files" and add access to syncing for your 10 friends.
Step 3, Ask your friends to install the sync clients and set your URL and their guest account name.
Step 4. The client will create a folder called "TonidoSync" which will be shared with all 10 people. Anyone adding a file will result in that file showing up in everyone's "TonidoSync" folder.

Thanks for the details....That I think I can follow.

Greatly appreciated....and my 10 group members as well.
