I just got an email from my friend who said the file transfer of 760MB completed successfully.

Yes, with the transfer speed limited at 50, I was able to do a transfer of 3 Gb. Do you know if this limit can be increased? Maybe not to unlimited but maybe a bit higher?

Thanks,
JC

Thanks for the information. We are working on this issue. Please use 50 KBps for now.

Hello.
I’m having the same problem. I can download only 160-250MB out of 1.6GB file before Tonido plug will stop responding.
Our internet connection can give up files with speed 300-800 KBps.
50 KBps kind of defeats the whole purpose of fast network. That will take about 10 hours to download 1.6GB file instead of 1-2 hour(s). And sometimes I have to deliver them quick.
We would be very appreciated if speed can be bump up maybe to ~200KBps, which is the average speed of the DSL connection (download).
Thank you.

i had the same problem, the tech support guy helped me out, this is what you do

go to http://www.speakeasy.net and find out what is your upload speed.

if for ie. if your upload speed is 800kbps, you divide that by 8 = 100KB

so 100KB is your setting, the new version of tonido should have a setting up to 1mb.

if you have a calculation of 75KB , set it to 50KB on tonido., you always round down.

be aware you dont need to set it that high, do the calculation and set it as such.

Most isps limits your upload speed.

Yes it has been resolved, please read feb 3 post, should explain the process to fix the problem. Your internet provider is limiting your upload speed therefore when someone tries to download from you, it crashes. go to speakeasy.net and find out what is your upload speed. I've noticed on the previous posts people are setting to 50KB i think they are selling themselves short. Further more version 6 is released, i've downloaded it and it works great.

Is it OK to use Unlimited with the current version? For all apps?
