Hi,
We will try to help.
The error you are getting is a generic message that will be shown whenever the UI is unable to talk to the tonido backend.
Can you please give us the following information.
(1) Version of windows that you are using?
(2) Are you trying to logon to tonido from the same machine where you started it or from a remote machine?
Also can you please check this,
(1) Start tonido. Now you a browser session starts showing the login page. Now can you open task manager and see if process tonido is running.
(2) Now login with a profile and password. From what you have explained you should see the error message now.
Now can you see if tonido is running on the task manager. If not please upload the tonido log file.
You can access the log file by going to Start -> Run and paste "%APPDATA%\tonido\data\logs" in the Run prompt.
This should open a explorer window containing tonido.log. Can you please upload this file.
