Why do we need Tonido on every PC?

I really dont understand why i need to have a full blown version of Tonido on every pc with different log in tonido profiles just so i can back them all up??? surely you can make a small app that you just download on to them and use i dont need tonido on every pc as i have a plug and can log into that from anywhere. Or am i missing something? Please let me know

You are right. You do not need to run Tonido on every PC. Unless, you want to do some backups. As long as you can access a Tonido instance, in your case your TonidoPlug, from anywhere, you are good to go.

The idea of having a smaller Tonido client is cool. We will look into this.

This is my post.
It was just for back ups i did it for. But a nice little standalone app solely for back up would be nice. After all we have plug ins for firefox so how about a little java app for a pc (or whatever magical scripting language you choose).
