Can't log in from another computer

Postby tlrademaker » Fri Mar 20, 2009 7:57 pm

I installed Tonido on one machine and I installed it on another computer.

When I attempt to long in on the second computer there is no profile.

What am I doing wrong?

A tonido profile runs on only one computer. Think of it as similar to a user account on an operating system.

So when you install Tonido on one machine A, to access that same profile from B, you can do one of two things:

1. Enable "Tonido Web Access -> All" in A, and then use the URL for that machine via your browser.
Say A's IP is 192.168.0.100, simply type in your browser http://192.168.0.100:10001

2. You can connect to that profile tunneling through the Tonido P2P network.

a) In this case, first setup A settings like below in the attachment.

b) From B, create a new profile, login into that profile. In the remote access box, type the Tonido ID of A and password and hit "connect". You are done.

Please let us know if something is not clear or you are having problems.

Thanks!
