Hi,
Situation:
- I have a Tonido server and a user that is admin (the one that I created when I installed the server)
- I created a guest user to which I shared folders in order to access from an Android phone
- when I login in the Tonido android app using the guest user, in Automatic mobile backup settings it says that no server could be found, though I enabled the option in the server
- when I login in the Tonido android app using the admin user, the Automatic mobile backup finds the server and works very well.
- the server has HTTPS enabled with a valid certificate from Let'sEncrypt.
I would like to ask it is is possible to have this option for guest as well, the automatic backup from mobile I mean.
Here is why: I don't think it is ok to login in the Android app with the admin user, I prefer to use another guest user. Also I would like my wife to have automatic backup on a Windows phone and she has only guest user.
While the guest user has the rights to upload files in a folder, I don't see why he couldn't set the automatic mobile backup on that folder.
I hope this makes sense as I explained it and can be implemented in a future update.
BTW, Great work guys, keep it up.
Automatic mobile upload for guest user
Re: Automatic mobile upload for guest user
I forgot to mention: the Android phone is a Sony Z Ultra with Sony's original Android 5.1.1 rom
Re: Automatic mobile upload for guest user
Thanks for the feedback!
As of now, We don't support Automatic Backup for guest users.

Re: Automatic mobile upload for guest user
Ok, thank you for your reply.
Maybe you can include it in "Nice to have" list for future versions of the apps.
