At last! Thanks for the explanation. The contents of that folder are gibberish - there's a folder structure, but all the text is in odd characters: 20141024_094525.jpg I have tried using TestDisk to look at the MBR and geometry - thinking it's a corrupt FAT or similar. But some directories and files...

If I understand your situation, you're looking for local drive mappings to be echoed across the WAN. That's an unlikely possibility, as the local mappings are set by each machine. I suspect you'd be better off giving the existing drives a nickname in addition to the letter mapping. Let's say you giv...

Hmm, it's been a week since I posted this about my Tonido Plug, and there's been no response whatsoever.

Is the tech staff on holiday? Or has Tonido abandoned all support for this product?

12 hours later, it's not working yet. I cannot get my Windows O/S to locate the Plug. It's not on this list: 20141015_115823_Tonido.jpg And I get this when I try the network path: 20141015_121030.jpg The Troubleshooting FAQs don't mention this sort of problem. Have a problem with my Tonido Plug, and with this forum. Started this thread to ask about a device failure. Have reworked the thread to count the days/weeks/months it takes to get an answer. A few days ago I lost a bunch of data on my Plug. Still no clue about why, nor about what I can do to trouble...
