Re: Changing Plug system time

Thanks for that tip. The time shown on that page is 15 hours earlier than the actual time (not counting the imminent change to BST!) So it looks like I have to select a timezone on the other side of the planet in order to get the clock to read correctly. ??? And even that has no effect on the time s...

Changing Plug system time

My TP seems to be 12 hours out of sync with local time.
Where can I adjust that clock?

Re: Customer Service Please

Have you got a linux box you can plug the drive into?
Alternatively, have you looked around the web for other explanations of how to set up samba mounts? Tonido is a a linux (Debian?) device, so the process should be identical.

Re: My SATA drive fails to boot. Need to recover data

If you just want to copy data off the SATA, you should be able to plug it into a caddy and into any USB port on a computer.

The caddy allows the drive to be read, but wouldn't boot an OS as it wouldn't have the hardware needed.

Re: SATA Mounting protocol

OK. - Looks like I've got it fixed - If that lost+found folder is anything to do with Tonido, please let me know. Otherwise I'll delete it. Re editing smb.conf, took a while to figure out what editor is available through PuTTY. Got as far as #nano /etc/samba/smb.conf Then a bit stumped by the GUI an...

Re: SATA Mounting protocol

Not quite as expected...

Have I got the command right?

Both partitions are still visible in Explorer, though the lost+found folder that was on disk2 is now on disk1.

Here are screenshots of the before & after.

Re: SATA Mounting protocol

Does your SATA disc have 2 partitions by any chance? That's the funny thing - I bought the drive new, and have only used it in this plug. If the Mfr normally creates two partitions then I suppose that could be one explanation. Seems more likely that the ext3 format I ran on it while setting up Toni...

Re: Tonido Plug Won't Detect External Disks

Actually, your chances are better given that you bought it direct. Tonido know just how their support has disappeared. Just send a registered letter asking for a RMA authorisation (or similar confirmation of warranty replacement). You might also send the details to support@codelathe.com. You won't l...

Re: Can Not Access my Plug2, port 10001

Are you having account access problems by any chance?

Some of what you describe sounds like symptoms of that.

Maybe a screenshot or two of what you see?
