Re: Can't stream movies to mobile devices (Tonido client)

Oops.. sorry didnt see it. I just checked and Unfortunately, the current 64bit version doesnt have the all the codec libraries compiled to transcode all formats (The other version of tonido does have it). So the transcoding is failing . We are looking to update the ffmpeg for 64 bit.

Re: Unable to upload files to UTF-8 encoded directories from

This has been fixed (The latest iOS app v7.0) and latest Tonido server should already handle it.

Can you check the versions? what is the OS where you run Tonido on?

Re: Tonidodrive crashing Windows 8.1

The filesystem driver itself needs to be updated (which is from a vendor) . so we need to get that and recompile it with Tonido. Un fortunately, it is going to take few weeks before this can be done.

Re: Can't stream movies to mobile devices (Tonido client)

The mobile clients can only play native formats (h264). So for MKV container files, they will be transcoded to h264 (hence you see the live streaming trace in tonido.log). Clearly something is wrong with the ffmpeg to try and transcode it. What is the OS where your Tonido server is running? and what...

Re: Song truncated on iphone/iPad app -- any reason why?

When the original shows 5:56 (after you play the newer version to make the original to show 5:56), does it actually play till 5:56? I am wondering if the metadata that is cached is being loaded incorrectly even though the actual data itself is truncated?

Re: Song truncated on iphone/iPad app -- any reason why?

The indexing will automatically fix itself because it will run at regular interval (and will do nothing if no file change was detected). That is the reason you see the file (but no album art because the file itself is gone). Just to make sure I understand correct: When you had all three version (new...

Re: unable to download files over mobile network

Sounds good. We will also verify this with Android 4.4 and push a fix with the upcoming build. We might have to change timeout tolerances . We will keep up you updated.

Re: unable to download files over mobile network

That is odd . The "New server avaialble" message is shown when you Tonido backend server detects that it is running the latest build. What is your Tonido server version? Do you start your app when the yuou are in LAN network and then switch to 3g? that could explain the failure because onc...

Re: unable to download files over mobile network

Are you able to login and navigate around in cellular network, but are unable to download files? does it fail immediately or do you see the download progress and then fail?
