Yoohoo! UPS just delivered My Tonido Plug

Beautifully packaged. Hey! What is the power cord for? A networking patch cord would have been more useful. In my case it does not matter, I have patch cords but I can imagine Grandma and me explaining how to connect this thing over the phone. :? Anyway, let the fun begin. P.S. Actually...

Re: Using wrong network interface for Private URL

It works. I just had to change the value to 1.

While I can handle the XML patching I hope you come up with a GUI interface for this. :-)

Re: Moving Profile from Tonido Desktop to TonidoPlug

Thank you, looking forward to getting it up and running. Meanwhile I am trying to understand how Tonido works, particularly, both webshare and Tonido network. I have a PC at work (behind a Cisco ASA firewall) and a PC at home behind a couple of F/Ws. The ones at home I have managed to get to port fo...

Re: Moving Profile from Tonido Desktop to TonidoPlug

Hi,

Thanks for the tip.

UPS has advised that I should receive the Plug on Friday, so I will have to wait till then to test this. Meanwhile a question, will I be able to get into the Plug without creating an initial profile? May I SSH into it? Any documentation on this?

Thanks,

Re: Creating Profile

I should be receiving my Plug in a few days and I would like to use the profile I am testing Tonido with. I would be interested in knowing how to transfer this profile file/data to the Plug.

Thanks,

Re: Using wrong network interface for Private URL

As usual, I think I explained things clearly and then reality hits. Let me try again. I have a machine runing XP. This computer is running a Tonido instance. It just happens that this XP computer has VMWare installed but not running any virtual machine. By way of having VMWare installed it ha...
