Re: Customizing the UI

A tonido login may mean they know it is a weak low powered server and it can be overwhelmed easy, but that doesn't mean they can just get in by DOS. This. This is the point. I'm not as worried about people getting in (although that would be bad) as I am people shutting me down for fun. By obscuring...

Re: Customizing the UI

As Tonido gets more popular, people will know what it means when they see the log in screen. They'll just hammer away at it trying to get it. I don't think it would take much to DOS my box as it's not super powerful. I'd also like to not have random people chewing up my bandwidth trying to get in. I...

Re: Customizing the UI

So, I've poured over the zip file and it's contents and this is a bit more complex than I realized. Is everything generated off the .js file? Was this built with Eclipse/GWT and would that be the suggested method of editing? Basically what I want to do is alter the login page so it's not obviously T...

Re: Songs not playing to completion

I've also tried using my own redirection service through DynDNS and the result is the same. The Jukebox will skip under Firefox and the Android client, but not under Chrome. So I'm guessing this means it's not the tonidoid.com redirector service to blame, right?

Using your own relay service?

So, I'm a bit baffled on how to make this work correctly. So I have my own domain and custom DNS redirection from DynDNS. So far, I've set it up like this and it's worked well. site.*mydomainname*.com = A-record http://www.*mydomainname*.com = Webhop to site.*mydomainname*.com:10001/ui/guest/index.h...

Customizing the UI

I'd really like to tweak the UI for guest log ins a tiny bit. I'm sure I can hunt around for the CSS file and hack and tweak at it a while, but I was wondering if there was any formal style guide. If I do figure it out, will everything get overwritten next time I update Tonido? Any chance that skins...

Re: Songs not playing to completion

I'm having this issue as well. I'm running Tonido for Linux on a ReadyNAS NVX. The machine I'm streaming to is a Win7 64bit using Firefox 3.6.12. However, using the same machine and Chrome 7.0.517.44, I don't have any problems. I'm not sure what's wrong with Firefox, but that seems to be where to lo...

Huh? Are you saying it transcodes on the fly to mp3?

Re: Android App Beta Test Results - List of Phone Models

Droid 1 running Cyanogen 6.0.0 Exit doesn't work consistently Menu doesn't work consistently I'm not sure if this is a bug, but I've noticed there's no haptic feedback when you select a menu item. There's also no visual feedback (ie highlighting the selection). This is a bit frustrating as it's impo...
