Re: Backup stalls on invalid symlinks

The backup can also get hung up if there is a | (pipe) in the name of a file.

Backup stalls on invalid symlinks

I have a cron job that rsyncs data from a web hosting site where I run my domains for a daily backup. I then have a backup job in Tonido from the plug (where the rsync runs) to another device where tonido runs. The backup always stalls when it hits a symlink that cannot be resolved. I worked around ...

Re: Can't sudo as non-root user

I bet everyone who can log in as added user (non-root) has an older version tonidoplug. I also can add a new user, a directory is created in the /home dir, and then I can't su to that new user, nor can I log in as the new user (using PuTTY on xp). My new plug arrived about 10 days ago. I agree with...

Re: Can't sudo as non-root user

Just as an update, installing pure-ftpd and logging in as a non root user does work. Logging in with any type of interactive shell with a non root user fails however and the session is closed.

Re: WEB CAMERA Server

Your current webcam is basically it's own server. It doesn't look like you even needed the plug to do anything.

udev and disk names

Instead of using /dev/Xda names for disk identification, why not include udev as part of the standard image/build and have the plug UI use the udex by-id identifier? This way the disk name and partition name would be specifically tied to the mount point and there would be no need to use additional s...

Re: Can't sudo as non-root user

The problem has nothing to do with ssh, as I cannot even su, sudo, or even use the login command to login as a non-root user.

As for passwords, I have tried simple and complex passwords, both with the same result.

Re: Can't sudo as non-root user

I just try to login, and the session is closed, no errors. I have tried different shells, turning pam off for ssh, etc. I have used openssh client from another linux box, logging in from the plug to itself, and from putty with all of the same results. I am just using 'adduser newuser' and have even ...

Re: Can't sudo as non-root user

I have a plug that just arrived last week and I cannot su, ssh, or even use the login command to gain access to the plug with non-root users.

AFAIK permissions have been double checked, passwords are set, etc. I am using the plug for samba user shares with no problems.

Re: Auto stop torrent based on seed ratio

Having the feature, at least set per instance is okay. What would the default setting be set to? Would it be disabled by default? As long as a ratio is set by default it won't be a big deal. If you have to enable it every time, that is still okay. Is there by chance some script or conf file that can...
