Re: Faster interface in the future?

The difference between eSATA and USB 3.0 is that the former is already on the market for more than a year and for the latter you will have to wait for another (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Usb_3.0#USB_3.0). With eSATA you easily get 3 times the transfer speed of USB 2.0. To move around a lot of ...

Re: HTTPS access for invites or HTTP only?

I like the idea of TonidoPlug very much. It would be great if you could plug this "security hole" so that (unexperienced) users would have to use https at all times.

Re: HTTPS access for invites or HTTP only?

One more question to understand the security concept. You write on http://www.tonido.com/app_workspace_home.html: "Data communications between Tonido workspace group members is encrypted by secure algorithms (AES 256). Your communications are completely safe from eavesdropping and tampering.&qu...

So people with fast eSATAp sticks or external harddrives with eSATAp could enjoy fast access while others could still use the...

HTTPS access for invites or HTTP only?

If I send somebody a link for a folder share, will this person have to use HTTPS to access the content or is it possible to get access via HTTP only? If HTTP access is possible, it's a security problem for confidential files. Can you force HTTPS access?

Limited User Rights?

Does Webshare Pro allow to set access rights to read only? Or does a user have full rights, i.e. can delete files (by accident) while viewing photos for example.
If it is not possible to limit the rights at the moment, it would be a nice - and for me important - feature for a future release.
