Re: disconnect hard disk

If you unmount the hdd before disconnecting it, then that guarantees all the outstanding data is successfully written to the disk.

unmount can be done from SSH command line or from plugadmin.

Re: Can No Longer Access TonidoPlug Admin on Tonidoplug 1

@Scott, Even with the upgrade, classic UI and plugadmin UI are still available. Assuming 192.168.1.100 as your plugs IP, you can reach the UIs using the following URLs: Classic: http://192.168.1.100:10001/ui/classic/index.html Plugadmin: http://192.168.1.100:10001/ui/plugadmin/index.html

Re: Migrating to PI

I dont think tonidoplug image will work on PI. The plug kernel has lots of hardware specific modules built into it. These won't be applicable for PI and also missing necessary modules. Easier approach will be to have the PI specific image (and same distro as one in tonidoplug) and copy over the cust...

Re: Plug 2 does not work and led light goes off

That is possible. If you had a power surge when you were away, then it might have burnt the power circuit. There are some online instructions on howto change power source for sheeva plug https://www.newit.co.uk/shop/resources/SheevaPlug-Howtoreplace.pdf . You may be able to try and replace yours fol...

Re: http://www.tonidoplug.com/ip/

Hi,
Unfortunately, plug's IP status is managed only by the plug itself. When it is not online, then the site will have only the last know status.

Re: TonidoPlug1 Completely Inaccessible

Hi,
Seems like the plug might not be getting an IP address. Can you check in your router to see if the plug is able to get an IP.

Re: linux headers for 2.6.30-rc6

It was offered by Marvel as part of their SDK for 1st generation of marvel chips (these chips were the ones used in tonidoplug v1). You might be able to find some googling for this kernel version and the string "sheevaplug" (name of the first generation plugs with 1st generation marvel chi...

Hi, TonidoPlug2 won't format your disk automatically.
You have to format manually from plug admin or by SSHing into the plug.
