Ah, yes. There was another instance of tonidoconsole running. I started it earlier. I killed it and now it works.

Thanks.

Problems running the SDK build.

I'm running Ubuntu 9.04 (Jaunty). I followed the SDK build instructions and everything built without problem, but when I run tonidoconsole the program just dies (output below). Any ideas? build/bin/gcc/debug % ./tonidoconsole Tonido: v0.2.0.9703 *** glibc detected *** ./tonidoconsole: double free or...

Re: Writing applications with Lua?

Sounds good. I look forward to when the Lua documentation is available. In the developers guide, you could just re-copy section 3 ("your first Tonido app") and show how the same dummy application would be done with Lua. This could include the C++ shell so that a non-C++ developer can just ...

Re: Writing applications with Lua?

Can you confirm that it is possible to write a Tonido app using just Lua + JavaScript?

Re: Open Source?

Besides PHP, other scripting languages such as python and ruby would be nice to have. Snag is, each of those things increases the Tonido download size. Popular server side languages include PHP, Perl, Python and Ruby. You can make a case for any of these, but clearly you cannot include all. I am ac...

Writing applications with Lua?

I've scanned through the developers guide and I could not find any information on how to build an application with Lua. I don't want to write an application with C++. That's not my idea of a "web" application. I expect to write the app using HTML, CSS, JavaScript and some high-level server...
