Re: Is TonidoPlug End of Life?

As far as I know there is no newer version of Debian (Wheezy, Jessie, Stretch, etc) that the Tonidoplug2 can run. Maybe Archlinux, but I never tried it......... As long as the Plug works and you keep it behind a router it's reasonably "secure". It's nice for LAN storage and LAN media serve...

Re: unable to access tonidoplug2 from the web

@nccton I have had the same problems with http://tonidoplug.com/ip as you have for some time (years?). I just shows old (obsolete) info when I try to connect with a mac address. However I can find and access my Plug with the Tonido app for iOS and from a browser (firefox on my LAN) with username.ton...

Re: WannaCry, SambaCry

Am I safe? Short answer: if you have to ask, probably not. :( Long answer: The Tonidoplug2 runs on Debian version 6 (squeeze) which is officially EOL (End Of Life) [Debian version 9 is the current version. This version od not available for the Tonidoplug2] . There are no recent (security) updates a...

Re: Tonido on my D-Link ShareCenter

You may be out of luck.....

The first line below the page header clearly states: Pls. note: Not supported anymore .

Maybe that explains your problems?

Re: Changing Plug system time

timedatectl is part of systemd-services package.

That package is not available on Debian Squeeze, the Tonidoplug2 OS. ;)

The Tonidoplug2 is just to old to support a newer version of Debian (with systemd).

Re: Unable to verify your Application Software Licensing!

@ravikiran My version is 6.82.0.27586 (this seems to be the Pro version) No updates found. I totally agree with you about outdated Tonido, Until unless they come-up with something extraordinary update. Don't hold your breath for it. The underlying OS is Debian Squeeze which is officially EOL. So no ...

Re: Unable to verify your Application Software Licensing!

@ravikiran I'm afraid I can't help you here :( On My Plug it is activated. License: TonidoPro License Level: Business Licensed To: CodeLathe Licensed Till: 2024-xx-yy zz:zz:zz But that does not help you. The link @nagapriya gave is nonsense. It has to do with end of selling pro and business licenses...

Re: Unable to verify your Application Software Licensing!

@nagaprya Yeah, I'm quite familiar with the procedure of how to setup a Tonidoplug2. Just look at my status of Guru Tonidoid . However in your previous post you told user ravikiran to Please install one and only Tonido from http://www.tonido.com/ on a sub-forum dedicated to the Tonidoplug . So again...
