Re: "Upload to server in progress" icon

TonidoSync can only sync a specific folder and keep it in sync with a server on a regular schedule. Yes, you should only install sync on the client and not the server. Thanks Madhan, this leads to another question. When I travel with my laptop (computer C), I'd like to access files on both computer...

"Backup has been disabled by admin"

I have Tonido Beta and TonidoSync2. In Tonido Sync, I can copy remote to local, but I can't backup local to remote. The message appears "Backup has been disabled by admin." I logged into the web and checked the box to Allow Remote Admin, New Account Creation and Remote Deletion. I restarte...

Re: "Upload to server in progress" icon

Thank you. I reinstalled Tonido, TonidoSync, and TonidoDrive and I have it working in one direction. But I need it to go in both directions. Here's what I'd like to accomplish: Install Tondio on local computer A. Then use timed access every two days to copy a folder from A to remote computer B. Also...

Re: Can I have some truthful answers please?

Both HTTP and HTTPS requests to our servers are handled completely the same. Also note that theconnection between your plug and our servers is 100% encrypted. So when using HTTPS it is fully secure. Thank you for that explanation. I, too, would like to understand security better. Here are my questio...

Re: What software has to be running?

Good, thanks, it's working now. For some reason, when I was testing it at home on two different computers it wasn't syncing. I'm at the office now and it synced fast. This is more like it! THANKS!

Re: What software has to be running?

Thank you for your very quick reply on Easter weekend. I now have the Server and Client communicating with just one app running on each computer. I can see the server files in my client's browser and can open them. 1. My understanding is that the word "Sync" implies that both the server an...

What software has to be running?

This I found in the Sync FAQ: 4. Should I install Tonido Sync Client App and the Tonido Server App (With Sync) in the same computer? No, that is not supported, only either the Tonido Sync App or the Server (Sync) should be installed and running on one computer. But if I don't have Tonido running on ...
