Re: Viewing HTML files on a remote system or on local system

I think it sill works. The URL will not shown to you. But If you type: "http://xxx.tonidoid.com/app/websharepro/share/public/index.html" it will show you the index.html in the public folder.

Re: Secure Linux only tonidoplug for use without Tonido soft

make ssh work on your tonido. Stop the tonido service with: "/etc/init.d/tonido stop"
You may leave the original software on if you have trouble after reboot.

Re: Opening a html file in TonidoPlug

I use a TP2. I created a share 'public' a long time ago. I can access an html page (show not download) with : "http://yourAccount.tonidoid.com/app/websharepro/share/public/index.html"

Try it.

Re: Setting up Key Based Authentication

OK. On my tonidobox I do not allow ssh login for root. Earlier I was asking in this forum why tonido runs as root. The replay was because of the capabilities like mounting a disk via the browser interface. I found this post. http://www.tonido.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=60&t=7680 I will try later ...

Re: Setting up Key Based Authentication

This has nothing to do with tonido itself. The underlying Debian is doing this job. You need a syn-dns for your router. Make a port forwarding to your tonido (use non standard port). Setup an additional user and allow it to login with a key. Now your tonidobox is an exposed host. If you have a route...

Re: [QUESTION] Accessing Thots on Android?

Hello,

I cannot find a working android client for thots. On windows I tried Zoundry Raven. That worked for new posts.

W.bloggar seems to be not existing any more.

I also searched for clients supporting the MetaWeblog API.

Any hints?

Regards.

Re: thots rss feed

I just found out, that enable rss will make public and private thots available to the public. There is no login required to see private posts.
I cannot see the special check mentioned in this post.

Re: infinite loop sharing files for guest users

Cool. My first useful involvement.
Is there a chance that I can set the sharing URL?
http://XXXXX.tonidoid.com/myShareName
I like to point directly to a share or subdirectory.
