Dead Plug and Corroded Battery

I may have found what caused my plug to brick: a badly corroded battery (sorry for the photo resolution; the pictures were taken with my cellphone). http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f205/Edge767/tonidoplug/IMG_20110822_144957.jpg The spot where the battery is appears to have some corrosion damage t...

Re: Windows 7-64 mount as local drive

No; for showing how to do this, I used the "Add a network connection" dialog/function. Mapping a network drive should be much the same. First, make sure you have a share already created on your plug. Then, you can map a drive using the "Map a network drive" function by entering t...

Re: TonidoPlug Uptime Milestone

Mine's been on since we moved to our new house. It's on a UPS so the few power outages we've had didn't take the Plug down. http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f205/Edge767/tonidoplug/Untitled-8.jpg I have to admit that I love this little TonidoPlug. It's one of the coolest things in my house, and I l...

Re: Windows 7-64 mount as local drive

I am using Win7 Pro 64-bit and have had success with two methods of accessing my HD attached to my TonidoPlug. First, I made a standard Windows mapped drive by selecting "Map a Drive" from the explorer when in Computer. The second method is as follows: Click anywhere in the Computer screen...

About...

First, let me say that I love how Thots has evolved into something so much more elegant and usable as a blog. Bravo! Second, I'd like to recommend an "about" page that links off the main area of Thots for those of us who plan to use it as a blog. It's not a need-to-have feature, but a nice...

Tonido and WebOS 1.4

As a Palm Pre user, I've been disappointed that the WebOS browser would never properly display Tonido in its web browser, but as of the latest WebOS update, I'm happy to report that Tonido works!!! Add WebOS to the list of mobile phones Tonido works with! I was able to get into every part of Tonido,...

Re: Constant activity on Ethernet?

I use DD-WRT also, and I notice sometimes the connections go up to 190 or so, and then back down to as low as 0. However, I have lots of things going on on my plug; backups and webshares that friends/family access as well as sync for workspace. I'm not worried about it too much as the max connection...

Re: Bank View

No, but here's something that I thought would be a "nice to have:"

Also, perhaps adding a "Bank Accounts" section within the Summary of Accounts category.

Just ideas.

Re: Bank View

OOOOOOoooohhhh... that view. Yes, I have that view (the "homepage" view).

I thought it'd be cool to have a page similar to to the stocks and assets pages for bank accounts (listed there with them, perhaps).

Sorry for the confusion.
