Re: Can't update Tonido

This is really so much fun. I never do torrents anyway and have never used this app, so I decided to just uninstall. Of course, I got the same 'unable to communicate' message. So I can't suspend it and can't uninstall it. Based on some googling I checked the torrents.db file (copied over to my deskt...

Re: Can't update Tonido

As you suspected I'm having trouble. And I assume by "disabled" you mean "suspended". I've tried three times suspending torrent from the app list and each time I get the same 'unable to communicate' message (after a few minutes) that I was getting when I tried to update Tonido. I...

Re: Can't update Tonido

I've been doing exactly what you say. I've never seen anything about updating plugins. I will have to pull the log from ssh since you don't want me to reboot after it fails. Where do I look for the log from the command line?

[Solved] Can't update Tonido

I repeated this several times, always with same result. When I log in on my new Tonidoplug it tells me update is available. I click for the update and it says it's updating for several minutes. Then a new dialog comes up saying it can't communicate. Then I reboot the plug and log back in through the...

Re: SSH Fine but no Browser Page

OK I finally figured this out. After creating my original Tonido account I wound up reconfiguring my usb drive partitions in various attempts to get usb boot working. The partition I set up as my original account directory got resized and repurposed as a Linux swap partition. So at boot the plug is ...

Re: Booting TonidoPlug using USB Drive

Hmm, okay looks like a regular good ol' MBR Partition-Table. I think you've copied over the Systemfiles to the 1st partition? You can see the Steps here: http://www.tonido.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=32&t=2217 (only the 1st part) I followed the steps at this link - based on the flash image rather...

Re: SSH Fine but no Browser Page

My problem seems to be identical to this one:
http://www.tonido.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=32&t=2352

My debug files are attached (after following the requested procedure above).

Re: Booting TonidoPlug using USB Drive

Yes, I copied system files over to /dev/sda1 following the procedure in the manual, but I will try the method you reference using the flash image instead. The usb drive has its own power and is plugged directly into the tonidoplug, no hub.
