[Solved] TP2 does not show Wireless Settings in Admin Screen

Tuxedo

Correct on both counts. I am booting from downloaded tar ball on an internal drive.

And the change to localconfig.xml fixes the problem.

Thanks for the fix.

Re: Plug and "Pro"?

As with many Tonidoplug users I am very keen to keep my data "private" and accessible - so am very happy with Sync as a usable and reliable solution. And I am happy to pay the special offer price to get the volume of data syncing that I need (realistically about 20GB). But I am not happy t...

encFS File Systems not supported by Tonido

I am working on encrypting data on my Tonidoplug disks. I have installed encFS sudo apt-get install encfs fuse-utils modprobe fuse (then added the "fuse" to the /etc/module file to load at startup) adduser root fuse and creating and using the encrypted partitions is fine when I run it from...

Re: A method to encrypt backups store on disk

I’ve looked at TrueCrypt, but I’m not sure how to go about installing this on Tonido (although I am currently booting from USB). There has been some work done to create a TrueCrypt package that runs on Tonidoplug (credit to Thomas). Details here http://bores.fr/blog/2011/03/creer-son-propre-cloud-p...

Re: Encrypt external USB Drives

I am thinking of something much more simple. I want the data on the USB drive to be encrypted so that if someone does walk off with it then they get nothing usable. And the only way someone can walk off with it is by disconnecting it. So I want to be forced to enter the password at the point of the ...

[Fixed] Email to thots - do I need to be using Relay Service

I have tried sending thots by email (from the email address defined in may Account settings), but get nothing coming through to the thots application. I am running thots on a tonidoplug, and am using Router forwarding and Dynamic DNS, so the Relay Service is not enabled. If this is not the problem, ...

Re: Help on my new tonido plug

6. If multiple USB devices are connected through a USB hub, it appears the plug cannot figure which one to boot from and falls back to internal flash after some time. Have been struggling with the same problem. And have now spent nearly as much on USB Hubs as on the Tonidoplug to find one that work...

[Fixed] Corrupt /boot directory

Am having problems with running LAMP image from USB. It looks to me as though the /boot directory has become corrupt, but I cannot find a way to delete or repair it. I have tried rm -r /media/disk2part1/boot but just get rm: cannot remove `/media/disk2part1/boot': Input/output error Any ideas ? List...

Re: TonidoPlug LAMP Image and multiple USB Drives [NTFS Problem]

LAMP image boots from 4GB USB Stick . The issue I have is with the USB Datadrive (500GB) I need to use via a USB hub. Problems are USB Datadrive will not automount when tonidoplug is started, I have to mount it manually each time (and then resume all Applications) USB Datadrive (formatted as NTFS) ...
