Hi Tonido stuff, hi madhan

Will you be working on this?
Is it possible to play the songs in an folder (mostly the album of a band, I think) according to the order referenced in the songs' ID3 tags?
Hope you can, will and do.

Hi Peso7, no currently we don't have that feature. We are planning a revisit of song playback. We will add this to the list.

Another question about the order the songs are played:
I'd like them to be played according to the ID3 tags (as posted here). But as it seems that this will not be available very soon, I decided to rename my mp3 files with 01.., 02.. etc so their alphabetical order is the same as the order on the record. What a disappointment, the songs are played at "random" order and on in alphabetical.
What's the logic of the order the songs are played? I really don't understand that.

Could you tell us what UI you are using to playback music? GUest interface or Admin interface?

Guest interface
I want to let a friend of mine listen to some music, so it's no solution to suggest to use the admin interface...
Please let the songs in a folder be played according to their track number in the ID3 tag. Second best solution would be to play them in alphabetical order, but really only second best!

Guests now can login into the Admin interface using the "Login as Guest" function and get the same User Experience as the admin.

Ok, but the Guest interface has (at least) one big advantage. If you click on a txt file it is shown directly in the browser. Logged as a guest in via the Admin interface, the txt file is downloaded and one has to open the file after navigating to the download folder - not very convenient.

By the way, why do you have these two different ways for guests to log in and even more interesting, why do you have these difference in appearance and behaviour?

I like Tonido a lot but there are some things that could be polished.

Other advantages of the Guest interface:
- the "Download Zip" function, really convenient!
- the endless listing of the files in a folder (the admin interface groups in 25s - not very convenient in my eyes)
- the "Logout" button - that's easier than logging out in the Admin interface

If you plan to unify, please use the best of both worlds and implement/change the upper two features in the "new" Guest interface.

Download as Zip exists in Admin UI as well. Click on Folder -> Actions menu and click "Download". It will download contents of the folder as zip.

We are unifying the interface to a single one rather than have multiple versions.
