Hello, after I upgraded to the latest sync client, I receive the message 'failed sync' at intervals of 15 minutes or so. I have attached the client log, and a log from the plug which seems to show the problem, or at least the problem file.

It appears that this file is corrupted. Was this file changed recently?

The file is a matlab tempoary file and will probably have changed recently, they change when the programs are changed and executed. However, I deleted all temporary files and the sync continues to fail. It is reported that the file has a bad size (now deleted on client); it is also reported that '[DataSync] Store has 1 or more dirty records before Sync!'. How do I reset the sync software? Can I also ask whether the sync is expected to encounter problems with files that change over time, such as the temporary files in matlab, which change as programs are built up?

Can you please tell us what version of Sync Client and Sync Server Plugin version you are running?

The server and the client (let's call it client 1) are now using v2.51.0.18312. I only updated the server this week, but client 1 was already using this version. It is noted that once I updated the server, that the problem was resolved, i.e. client 1 was previously reporting a problem with the .asv file when the server was using the old software, but not with the new software.

I also noticed that as soon as the server was updated, that another client (let's say client 2) reported that files had updated, which was nice to see. I also saw a change made client 2 propogate to client 1, which made me think that maybe Tonido is now working. However, there seems to be another file struggling on client 1, this file is a simple list-mode data file, which was taken during an experiment and therefore has never changed contect. Please see the client log from client 1, look at the end of the file, and please be aware, that although there are some issues with a slow connection, this is not the only problem, indeed I can watch youtube videos and as always, dropbox is flawless and Google Drive puts up a good effort (although not as good as dropbox).

Will you ever offer owncloud as an application on Tonido plug?

For whatever reason, uploads are failing from your client to the server. How are the client and server connected? Over the LAN or on the internet?

The client and the server are connected over the internet. I will connect over the LAN at the weekend.
