Why are photos uploaded through the iPhone app resized?

Is there any way that i can choose to upload them with the original size?

I am assuming you uploading the image that is your photo library and are at iOS app v3.3

The photos are not resized. Infact the image is extracted with highest possible quality to upload.

I just took a photo, which is 3264 x 2448 px and has a size of 1.9 MB.
After uploading it to my Tonido server through the Tonido iOS app (v3.3 yes), the size is now 720 x 960 px and 522 KB.

Can you explain that? :)

Not sure about the orignal size etc.

The App uses the available iOS api to get Jpeg representation of image from the iOS native photo album with lowest available compression to upload.

Is it possible you can investigate this / submit it as a bug?

Other apps using the iOS api has no problem - and i'd like to discontinue the use of those apps, and focus my attention on Tonido's.

Same issue here. All photos that do manage to upload are shrunk to smaller size. Also the named is changed to ISOPhoto_123.jpg instead of the usual IMG_123.jpg. I just installed tonido on my iphone yesterday so I don't know if this is normal. Thanks.
