Hi, I bought the Tondioplug after checking that the BB Tonido app worked fine - yet this had been 6.0. Now, after the plug runs very well with windows 7 (sync) and within the browser, I had to notice that the BB tonido 7.0 app does not even complete the aUthentication process. After installing, several fast authentication runs are shown on display (why ever), yet then it stops just in the middle of such a run and the whole app is frozen (even waiting for another 10 minutes did not change anything). I can only go back to the system by the red phone button and pressing the tonido button again does not produce any effect other then freezing the bb display again and I have to use the red phone button again to keep the bb running. I meanwhile uninstalled the whole app directly on the phone and also with the bb desktop tool. Really embarassing, all this un-/re-installing processes took a lot of my saturday evening . If it does not work, the whole plug investment is >50% wasted in my case. Hopefully, you have an idea how to fix that. kr Stephan

Stephen you are not alone... I had to do a factory reset on my BB 9850 this morning and now it is telling me that the app is no longer compatible with my device... What happened here? It was compatible with this device. What's changed?

Yes, I can verify that, it works from two Windows7 PCs in my local net and from an XP-PC at work. Meanwhile, I tried to update the APP again, yet same behavior.

Hi,
I am still trying to get the tonido app working on my BB 9800. Please, note again, that an earlier version of the app worked fine. As I took from the website that tonido claims to support the 9800, I tried to install the app again (after deleting of the old one and rebooting), yet same result as described in my 1st description. I am also a bit surprised that I did not get any support from the team until now, quite disappointing.

What is the version of BB you are running?

BB for tonido runs on OS version 5 and 6.

We dont have access to BB 9800. So we are going to go with your assessment that Tonido for BB version 7 does not work on 9800. I have disabled Version 7 support for 9800 and enabled version 6 support for 9800 alone. Please wait for 24 hours for changes to be reflected on app store than download Tonido from App Store, you will get version 6.
