Shouldn't make any difference. As the connection is outbound it should work

doesnt seem to want to connect, when in 4G wimax, it wants to connect but i get a pop up message- "network wifi null"

Is there a work around to this, since sprints 3G is painfully slow?

thanks,

just little more info to last post.

I am using a Motorola Photon with Sprint. again no problem getting back to my computer through 3G or going over Wifi. My computer is connected via a Linksys router to Time Warner cable.

thanks.

Is this for the android app? We haven't tried the apps on wimax (The network connectivity is managed by phone so we dont really have control over it). But we will investigate and see what could be going on. I will ask our android dev to take a look at this.
Thanks

You could pl try with LAN swtiching setting to 'No '?

Steps: login Tonido app in 3G->click on menu button-> select more -> settings ->lan switchingin-> No -> Save-> exit tonido. Turn on wifi, try openning Tonido app.

Pl let us know if this works.

Yes this is Android.

Switched the Lan setting to off and relaunched. was able to connect but could only view pics and docs, music tries to load but stalls out and never plays. After trying it a few times i also got a couple of FC's.

right now it is not to stable unless I am connected via WIFI.

Hopefully you can look into this issue because this is a great app, very few have the ability to use it on a smartphone and also with another PC, which I do at the office.

Thanks,

I have added this issue to our bug list. We will test and try to fix it.

Just to confirm: app works in 3G and Wifi but doesnt work in Wimax.

Did you try accessing through a browser http://<youraccount>.tonidoid.com ? Does that fail as well?

Could you provide following information
Android OS version, phone name, carrier, location (country)
