Hi, I have been trying to activate a newly purchased TonidoPlug using the recovery account option however, due to some confusion in the office the primary account has the wrong email address. I have updated the email primary email address, but the recovery option says the address is invalid. One of my colleagues use did try the recovery option with the wrong email address that we was on the primary account and the system said a auth code would be sent to that address, but we do not have access to that account. Please help.

We normally cannot change the email address in our server, because we really cannot verify if you are the authorized user for the account.
But you can SSH to the plug and remove the profiles folder and it will allow you to create a brand new account.

So if I go to Account + Settings and change my email address then press update the information on your server is not updated?

We can check what the email address in the system is for your account.
Please tell us what the account name is.

Bump Bump!!

Despite confirmation that you have the correct email address on your servers we are still unable to active the TonidoPlug by the retrieving an existing account by supplying our email address and account name!!

Is this problem fixable?
Where is TonidoPlug looking for the recovery account settings?

I hope you can understand my frustration, I first reported this problem on 20th of April and it has not been resolved!

Have you tried account recovery since then?

If that doesn't work, you will have to create a new account on the plug.
