i posted a thread last week about background downloads - but i found a rather major bug related to this...if the download is stopped in the middle, it's forced to start over. the problem is that it doesn't appear to clear out the previous attempt to download the file...it just starts over and creates a new file.

i downloaded a 900mb movie, trying a few different times to see if it would resume download or continue in the background. by the time i finally got the movie downloaded, tonido was using 2.6gb of data. i deleted the movie, but tonido was still using 1.8gb. uninstall and reinstall of tonido app and now i'm down to tonido using 8.0mb.

awesome, thanks for the quick reply! i'd love to see the download pause and pick up where it left off, but for now just having this fixed will help a lot for those of us with 16gb iPads...

Yes. This will definitely be fixed in the next update (For now you will have to manually delete it from your phone using the Tonido iOS app itself).

FYI: This fix is coming in the next Tonido IOS update (This only cleans up interrupted download from temp download location). The ability to restart interrupted download is not yet added in.
