I'm using TP2 plug and have the latest TD version installed. I'm running XP SP3. My TP is connected via LAN and I'm accessing it through a WIFI connection; both are strong.

TD is one of my favorite apps and I'd love to get it working properly. I have two problems that occur and I couldn't find, what I thought to be relevant, info already posted.

(1) When opening any folders using TD it takes a long time (more than 5 seconds) to open the folder and then longer for everything to appear. Any action is similar to this-sluggish. Painfully slow such that it would be hard to use if (2) were solved.

(2) I can copy files just fine from the TP via TD to my computer. If I try to copy files from my computer to the TP through TD a few copy over, but I eventually get "cannot read source disk." With larger files, the error occurs during copy, almost as if it's timing out.

I can delete a single file or even a folder with no sub-folders in it; no errors occur. When I try to delete a folder with sub-folders in it, I get the error "Cannot delete FILE_NAME: cannot find the specified file."

what is your version of the Tonido server?

I am seeing that the delete has timeout and connection reset causing the failure.

I'm not sure, where do I find that? Is it this?

I am bumping this because it has been almost a year and the problem still isn't solved and I'm am basically sitting on $100 useless piece of equipment (the plug). I bought it mainly for Tdrive. I figured after this amount of time the TonidoDrive updates would have fixed the issue, but this isn't the case.

However, the problem isn't 100% the same. I can now copy files, but if they are over 4 MB (that's right, MB), I get the following error:

"Can't read from the source file or disk."

I've updated to the lasted plug and TD. What's the issue? I can download files fine from the webui. Is it because the Tplug is connected to a USB drive instead of sata? Something else?

There are some issues with Tonido Drive that could cause this issue, so we are overhauling the SW to avoid these issues. Once we have the new update, we will let you know and ask you to try.
