Longtime issue, never got around to following up and can't find earlier posts...

Anyway, when running Tonido via https (using purchased SSL) on Win7x64, I have never gotten jukebox working. If I switch off the SSL and restart Tonido, it now plays. I'm fully updated on both Win7x64 and Android (Kindle Fire and Samsung Captivate).

What could be the reason? I've already checked the firewall settings (and this is a new router) and the ports are open appropriately.

Jukebox works fine over https from another Windows XP machine.

When you say Android jukebox, do you mean the android music player?

Correct. (sorry for the delay, I didn't have the notify me checked)

I've also now tested out an iPad here also, so it has to be my configuration somehow (unless no one else is running https on Windows 7). On the iPad, under "music", it just spins when I select an mp3 to play.

Summary:
Host system: Windows 7x64 running 2.50.0.18016. I am not using the default port, but have port forwarding.
Remote Windows XP: successful play
Android-Samsung Captivate (CM7): no play
Android-Kindle Fire: no play
iPad 3: no play

Which logs would be useful/how do I retrieve?

Thanks.

Are you using self-signed SSL?

That's what I meant. This is currently a known issue, with self signed SSL the mobile apps have compatibility issues.

How high is it on the priority list?

What are other options if I still want secure transmission? Is there any way to run in a hybrid mode - https for everything else, http for audio/video?

Our relay has https support as well.
Simply enable relay and use a HTTPS URL.
