cURL on Tonidoplug

Can I install cURL on tonidoplug?
If not then is there any application available for Tonido which can open an URL and do POST operations?

Yes, curl can be installed by SSH.

I tried that on mine and is says couldnt find package curl. Do I need to change a config ?
if i apt-cache search curl it only finds the libcurl-gnutls package which doesn't contain the curl binary.

Not sure which one it is. Its brand new TonidoPlug (the box doesn't mention 2 anywhere).
I think it might be a tonidoplug 1 but it has more usb ports (Australian Spec).

SmartNow plug runs older Ubuntu.
