 Post subject: Sync Quit working from Clients

I have Server running on a Win 7 machine. I have two clients; a Mac and another WIn 7 laptop.

Both clients used to sync, but now I cannot get either client to sync with the server.I have uninstalled the client and reinstalled multiple times. I have cleared the TonidoSyncData\Client folder on both machines multiple times. Still no luck.

I turned off the Windows Firewall on the server. Still no luck,

Looking at the log file on the server, it keeps logging a "Timeout" entry. I am attaching the log file from the server (tondo - copy.log). Also the log file from the Mac.

Very odd, it appears something is blocking the sync connections and as a result the connections are timing out.

On the server, can you change log level to trace and then after about 30 mins, post the log again?

Is there any large file that is your sync folder?
anything 100s of MB?

No files over 100 MB.

I did notice that there are two folders in the "stage" folder that were created on January 30th. The names are "a4e7c18-3327-11e1-bff7-001fc64ddb03" and "9d323884-4b9f-11e1-8f6c-000c29d38".

The a4e... folder is empty. It is listed multiple times in the log file.

The 9d3... folder has several folders in it that mirror the Sync folder. But each of those folders are empty.

Another location that shows up in the log file ("83c4a164-130c-11e1-a044-000c29d38eac") with similar messages as the a4e... folder, does not exist.

Could these folders be part of the issue?

Hmm, it is not clear why this is happening.

What changed from what was working to this state?
Were versions updated or new files added?

I just installed new updates to the server today.

I also changed the location of the sync folder as per the instructions on your web site.

I fixed it. I had a little time this afternoon so I uninstalled Tonido, removed all Tonido folders from the %appdata% folder. Then I reinstalled Tonido.

Now it is working properly again.

Ok...this is getting annoying. I don't have that many files (1,300 files, about 400 MB) that I am syncing. It stopped again a few days ago. So I uninstalled and reinstalled the server...again...and it started working. This lasted for just a couple of days. Now it is not syncing again!

I have attached my log file with the log level "trace".
